I started working with Micheala about 18 months ago on my first novel. She was a Beta Reader and her insight and comments, as well as willingness to answer questions after she had submitted her comments and notes, impressed me to no end. Some Beta Readers give an assessment and move on, and unless you hire them again don't want anything to do with you. Micheala was different. She was detailed, diligent, and clearly wanted to do whatever she could to make my book successful. That's why I asked her to be a Beta Reader for my second novel and then a Development Editor for my third. If you want somebody who cares and is honest, and you are willing to take the hard truth when things aren't up to snuff, Micheala is who you want.

I was so impressed with her, I asked her if she would be willing to essentially be a "Beta Reader" but on an outline for an upcoming series I'm crafting. I figured it would be best to have somebody helping me examine the story before I wrote it, hoping to avoid many rounds of rewrites after I'd put thousands of words on the page. She's been great at letting me go back and forth, explain what I'm going for, and using that context to help me find the best path forward. Micheala will always be the first person I contact whether it is to Beta Read, edit, or consult before writing. I can't stress this enough: if you want somebody who truly cares about you as a writer and you're willing to take on board her thoughts, suggestions, and insights, you'll spend a long time trying to find somebody I would recommend more highly.

I found the best editor ever!

Micheala Stahl delivered a copy edit and beta read with professionalism and gave a report that showed not only the line edits I needed but insights with a true understanding of the craft, the characters, the plot, and the premise of my novel. Within two months of using her services I published my novel. She was wonderful to work with, helpful, smart, and kind! My second novel is coming up and Micheala will be my 'go to' person. She's the one you want. She's a winner.

Alpha Reading

$100

As an alpha reader, I dive into early drafts with a sharp yet supportive eye. I focus on identifying structural inconsistencies, pacing issues, character development gaps, plot holes, and areas where the narrative may feel unclear or disconnected. My goal isn’t just to critique, but to offer constructive, actionable feedback that helps strengthen the story from the inside out.
